Privacy notice

How we look after your details.

This is a short, plain English notice about the contact form on this website. Last updated November 2026.

Footage and car park data

Footage and data stay on site. Nothing is shared. That is our promise about the footage and the data from a car park we work with.

The details you send us through the contact form on this website are a separate thing. The rest of this notice is about those details.

Who we are

We are Vision Parking Solutions. When you send us a message through this website, we are the ones who decide how your details are used, so under UK data protection law we are the “controller” of them.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect:

  • your name and email address
  • your organisation and the car park or site, if you tell us
  • anything you write in the message box
  • a scrambled code made from your internet address, which we use to stop one person sending lots of messages. We do not keep your internet address itself, only the scrambled code.

Please don’t put anything private or sensitive in the message box. We only need to know a little about your car park.

Why we use it

  • to read your message and reply to you
  • to talk with you about your car park
  • to keep the form free from spam and misuse

You agree to us using your details to reply when you tick the box on the form. We also have a good reason to keep the form safe from spam. We don’t use your details for anything unrelated, and we don’t sell them.

Who can see it

Our team can see what you send. We also use trusted companies to host this website and to store the messages we receive. They only handle your details on our behalf. Some of them may handle data outside the UK. We don’t share your details with anyone else, unless the law says we must.

How long we keep it

We keep your message for as long as we need it to reply and to follow up on your enquiry. When we no longer need it, we delete it. If you would like it deleted sooner, just ask.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
  • correct anything that’s wrong
  • delete your details
  • stop using your details, or take back your agreement

To do any of these, use the contact form and say what you’d like. We’ll answer by email.

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
